Curious about Uganda? Christ Church hosted this year’s UCSS Spring Mission Summit! We enjoyed a wonderful lunch featuring authentic Ugandan Matooke, followed by an international live stream at 1:15 pm. During this 30-minute presentation, we shared inspirational stories from Uganda, heard from our partners, issued a crucial Call To Action, and engaged in lively Q&A with the audience!

In February, members of our Christ Church Uganda Team, along with Stella Kwagala, the Head Nurse of the Uganda Counseling and Support Services (UCSS) Medical Clinic, hosted a booth at Lakewood Church’s Medical Mission Conference. They successfully engaged 57 people, sparking their interest in UCSS! This event served as a beautiful opportunity for networking and spreading the Good News of the work happening in Uganda. Stella also paid a visit to our worship services and Sunday School classes.
Christ Church has been partnering with Dr. Ronald Kaluya of Uganda Counseling and Support Services since 2015. We have had the privilege of witnessing this ministry transform an entire village towards self-sustainability. Through a unique holistic approach, UCSS empowers the people by drilling clean water wells, teaching advanced agricultural techniques, providing education for children, training leaders, delivering medical and counseling care, forming economic development groups, and all of this is enveloped in the love of God, symbolized by the construction of churches next to the water wells.
