LIFE Ministries
LIFE Daytime Activities
Focused on both members of our church and individuals within our community, Adult LIFE Ministries are designed for adults seeking to participate in daytime activities at Christ Church.
Fridays • 9 – 10:30 am • Office Area
Join this group as they knit/crochet to create tangible expressions of the prayers of our church for those in need of comfort, healing, assurance, and a reminder of God’s presence. Bring knitting needles (size 11 or larger suggested) or a crochet hook. If you don’t know how to crochet or knit, we will teach you! Can’t make it to our gatherings? Consider working independently on prayer shawls and then donating them to be blessed and distributed.

Every Friday • 1 – 2 pm • Brookdale First Colony; 16900 Lexington Blvd in Sugar Land
This is a weekly community Bible study. Those attending sing a few hymns, share joys and concerns, pray, and explore scriptural passages. As we reflect on God’s Word we are assured of His greatness and our need, and strengthened as His kingdom people. Lessons are presented by Jan Randolph.
Third Wednesday of Each Month • 9:30 am • Faith Corner
If you love to read, you will probably enjoy discussing your experiences with books with others in a book club that will open you up to different perspectives you might have missed. You will meet new people and be encouraged to read a variety of genres. Taking the time to enjoy yourself, have fun with books and other people is a reward in itself.

Bread of L.I.F.E. is a ministry developed to extend the Communion Table of Christ Church into the home of any who are unwillingly missing from the worship gatherings of our faith community. This is a sacred opportunity to serve those in need. If you participated in this ministry prior to COVID, or if you are newly called to reach out in the love and mercy of Christ to others, or if you or a loved one desires to receive communion at home, contact Ann McIntire, amcintire09@gmail.com, 713.907.7802.
