Spread the Music Association (SMA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to spreading its passion for music throughout the community. Not only do its performances help spread the love for music, but they also influence and set an example for kids to use their talents to give back to the community.

With a variety of talents, the members of SMA participate in monthly performances that include piano, string ensembles, wind instruments, percussion, vocals, guitar, dance, cultural instruments, etc. Their members range from elementary to high school students from all over Houston! Since SMA’s founding in 2015, it has now grown to an organization run by students with over 100 members and has hosted six successful benefit concerts, raising over $43,000 for UN Foundation Girl Up.
