Love to see things grow? Become one of our Gardeners! The garden located behind the Family Life Center provides fresh vegetables for the local Food Pantry.
Every Saturday at 9 am (8am in the summer), come enjoy the beauty of God’s bounty and the company of some really nice people. Christ Church’s garden, located directly behind the Family Life Center, grows fresh vegetables and always welcomes those that would like to participate in this great ministry.
The vegetables are donated to the EFBHNM Food Bank. Last year we donated 2,330 pounds of food to the Food Bank! It is also an opportunity to work together with your kids to show them where food comes from, and it is a great chance for students to get YES service hours!
No need for a green thumb, just an open heart for working with others, learning about gardening and a desire to help others in need. For more information, please contact Mark Larson at 281.261.6481 or just stop by any Saturday.
