Hurricane Beryl Relief

How You Can Help During Hurricane Beryl Recovery

If you need assistance, please fill out the contact form on our website.

In typical Christ Church fashion, some of you have already asked how you can help. If you are in a place to offer assistance, we invite you to first check on your neighbors and loved ones, and help with any debris clean-up in your immediate area.

Opportunities to Assist:

Crisis Clean Up: This disaster response website connects individuals with assistance from churches and nonprofits. They are currently in need of both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking phone operators. You can answer calls from the comfort of your own home.

City of Sugar Land: Several elderly and other neighbors need help clearing debris to the curb for pick-up. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Fort Bend County Fairgrounds: This location is currently operating as a shelter, housing 216 people. Volunteers are needed to support the shelter’s operations.

After checking on those around you, feel free to contact our Missions Director, Renee Teel, at reneet@christchurchsl.org to find out how you might be able to help further.
