First Day of Class Moved to February 1
Christ Church is blessed to offer another year of “Created By God”. Created By God is a program resource designed to communicate to fifth graders that we are a fantastic creation made by God. The topics of human sexuality, values, and relationships are approached in a frank, honest, and Bible-based manner.
The Student Guide is a frank, comprehensive resource for tweens. It discusses the changes that are happening as tweens proceed through adolescence including likeness and differences of males and females and a step by step guide through puberty.
Because of the sensitive nature and fast-paced learning materials, we ask that every child attend all 6 sessions. As the material builds, attendance is of the utmost importance.
Our class is taught by 3 teams of couples who have extensive knowledge and experience with the program and have undergone background checking and training.
Classes will run 6 weeks from Sunday, February 1 through March 15 beginning at the 11 AM worship hour and going until 12:30 PM.
There will be a mandatory Parent meeting on Thursday, January 22 at 7 PM in Rooms 210/211 with further information, a presentation, a Q&A session, and a chance to meet our knowledgeable teachers. Childcare will be available upon request as we ask that no children attend this meeting.
If your child is in 6th grade and missed the class last year, please email or call for availability after January 10th. We want to give priority to our 5th graders
