Since 2009, the Christ Church Sugar Land Handbell Choir has opened the annual Dickens on the Strand Festival with a concert series at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Galveston.

This year, you can experience the concert here in our Sanctuary on Sunday, December 1, at 6:30 pm. Join us as the Christ Church Ringers fill the room with sounds of the season, dressed in authentic Victorian costumes!

Come enjoy a festive evening as we ring in the Advent Season with familiar holiday music played on unique and beautiful instruments. Admission is free, and donations to the Music Ministry are appreciated.

The Galveston concert series will be held on Friday, December 6, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Galveston, with performances at 5:30 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:30 pm. Tickets are available through the Galveston Historical Society’s Dickens on the Strand Festival.
