Since 2009, the handbell choir from Christ Church Sugar Land has followed the tradition of opening the Dickens on the Strand Festival with a concert series at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Galveston. On Sunday, November 26, at 6:30 pm, the Christ Church Ringers will perform their festive concert for us here in the Sanctuary, Victorian costumes and all! Please plan to come and savor the joyful ringing-in of the Advent Season with our 20 ringers playing familiar music on unique and beautiful instruments.

The Ringers’ Galveston concerts will be performed on Friday, December 1, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 5:30 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:30 pm. Tickets are available through the Galveston Historical Society.
