The Melody Makers and Cherub Choirs have been invited to sing at the Children’s Museum of Houston’s Interfaith Initiative, The Gift of Music – Advent Christmas, for a 2:00 pm performance on Sunday, December 7. After singing in the Mosaic and Contemporary Services, families can enjoy Pizza with Santa at the church before heading to the museum. Admission is free, and paid parking is available for participants and their families. After the performance, families are invited to stay and play at the museum.
To prepare your child for the performance:
- Register by Sunday, November 16
- Headcount: We need a count of children and adults attending.
- Shirts: Participating Christ Kids will receive a Christ Kids shirt. Please provide your child’s shirt size.
- Transportation: We recommend driving your child to the museum. Let us know if transportation is needed.
- Performance Day – December 7
- Choir sings at Mosaic and Contemporary Services
- 11:30 am: Pizza with Santa after the Contemporary Service, Loft
- 1:00 pm: Gather to leave for the museum, FLC parking lot
- 1:30 pm: Gather at main museum entrance
- 2:00 pm: Performance
- Stay and play at the museum afterward
