Christ Church supports missionary Kathie Mann in her Kenya ministry where she develops new mission areas for the Methodist Church in Kenya, hosts and facilitates mission teams, and more.
Christ Church went to Kenya in 2017! We built an AIDS Orphan Home, delivered bibles to the chapel, distributed gifts to new moms, babies and children in Maua Methodist Hospital, visited one of the largest slums in Kenya, did crafts/songs with the KBC Orphanage and added a two day safari before we came back home.
Christ Church continues to support Kenya’s United Methodist Missionary, Kathie Mann (see below)
I am the Global Mission Partner for the hospital through the General Board of Global Ministry. I have been organizing mission teams to the Maua Methodist Hospital mission site since 1998 but now will also be in Kenya to oversee the teams while they are serving. My job also entails evaluating programs new and old, developing new mission areas for the Methodist Church in Kenya, hosting and facilitating the mission teams and continuing to organize and schedule teams year round. As of now, I plan to spend half the year in Kenya and half at my ranch in Colorado. Without your wonderful support I would not be able to serve in Kenya. You have answered my prayer to serve where God has called me, and there are not enough words to say “Thank you.”
