Christ Church's Family Ministries offer programs, events and activities designed to enhance the family life of our whole church. From family retreats to marriage workshops to Bible studies, Christ Church strives to do its part to nurture families!

For this child I have prayed…

Expecting a baby through birth or adoption? Let us know so we can be in prayer for you as you await the arrival of your child!

Infant Massage Classes with Kim Ripley, Certified Infant Massage Teacher

Private lessons or group classes aimed at parent/baby bonding as well as soothing touch for your baby. Moms, dads, grandparents, and caregivers welcome! There is no charge for this class. Contact Kim at Kimr@christchurchsl.org to participate.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

MOPS is designed to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ. Meetings include topics such as child-rearing, womanhood, the home and marriage - all of which are based on biblical principles. Creative activities add fun and develop new skills. MOPS strives to fulfill the needs for friendship, creativity and for spiritual growth. While moms are meeting, children from birth through kindergarten are cared for in the loving environment of MOPPETS, a children's program.

Foster Care and Adoption Ministry

“If each of the faith communities in our area encourages one family to adopt a child or sibling group, and that congregation will surround the adoptive family with a support system of tangible love, resources, and guidance - there will be no more children waiting to be adopted, the community of faith will be strengthened by enriching its core moral mission, and our community will be healthier, safer, and stronger.” -Rev. Amy Bezecny.

For more information on how to support foster and adoptive families in our congregation, or for an introduction to the foster care/adoption journey for your family, contact Amy at abezecny@hopeandhealingcenter.org.
