The Children’s Ministries team at Christ Church is committed to providing each child with a life-long love of Jesus Christ. So our programs encourage children's spiritual, emotional, physical, and social development following the examples of Jesus Christ as taught in the Bible. Christ Church provides a loving and nurturing environment for learning about and experiencing God in our daily lives.

Children’s Sunday School

With goals and objectives for each age and grade level, our interactive Sunday School environment is a great place for children to learn and grow in their faith. Our desire is that every child comes to Sunday School at 9:30 or Children's Church at 10:55, and attends a worship service with their family.

If you have a child who has not attended Sunday School, all you need to do is check in at one of the computer kiosk stations in the Education Building on Sunday mornings. Our helpful kiosk volunteers will assist you in getting your child to his/her classroom. Younger children are invited to our childcare center, where they will be cared for by our loving childcare staff and introduced to BIBLE TIME, a curriculum that is specifically designed for infants and toddlers.

For your convenience, additional information on Children's Sunday School is presented by age and grade level in the table chart in the right hand column of this page.

Computer Check-In

Christ Church is serious about your child’s safety!

All children who enter a classroom must check in at one of our computer Check-In kiosks. A volunteer will ask for the last four digits of your primary phone number or your last name to bring up your family information on the touch screen. After confirming the classroom assignments and the time of attendance, volunteers print a name tag for each child. Parents receive a security claim check for kids 2nd grade and younger. Children in 3rd - 5th grade are allowed to check-in without a parent. Children wear the name tag on their clothes for security purposes.

At the end of the class time, parents need to go directly to their child’s classroom; if you were given a security claim check you must present that to pick up your child. If your child has not attended a class at Christ Church before, the volunteer will take a few seconds to input the child's information and assign him or her to an age-appropriate class.

Christ Kids Create – Praising God Creatively!

Children will learn to use their talents to glorify God as they dance, paint, sculpt, sing, and more! Each week will include an art project, music, movement, and a short Bible lesson that ties it all together.

Check in at the Children's Office and groups will split from there by age. 5-6:30 pm on Sundays. The new semester begins January 15.
